This course is designed to provide an overview of real estate broker compensation after the 2024 National Association of Realtors Settlement in the Sitzer/Burnett case. We will discuss how these changes have impacted closing agents’ disbursement practices and review the Florida Realtors/Florida Bar Addenda that may be included in the Sales Contracts. We will highlight how disputes related to broker compensation could crop up in your real estate transactions and provide potential solutions for closing agents to keep the transaction moving forward.
