Description

Formed in 2018, the Cyber Security Committee focuses on technology developments affecting the title industry and works to promote awareness and education around cyber fraud.

Purpose

The Cyber Security Committee provides educational opportunities to FLTA members and potential members, specifically in the areas of technology and cyber fraud awareness.

Activities and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver seminars on cybersecurity and technology topics relevant to the title industry.
  • Write and contribute articles for FLTA newsletters to keep the membership informed of emerging trends and threats.
  • Develop educational projects and initiatives as requested by the FLTA Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to provide educational programming for the FLTA Annual Convention and other events.

Membership

  • Who Can Serve: Members may be drawn from the Agents Section, Insurers Section, and Affiliate Members.
  • Term: Annual
  • How to Join: Appointment by the FLTA President.

Leadership

  • Committee Chair: Selected by the FLTA President
  • Term: Annual

Meetings

The Cyber Security Committee meets on the first Wednesday of each month.
