I have experienced and seen many examples of how being an FLTA member is beneficial. One way is how the membership has become its own community, where regardless of professional competition, everyone comes together for the stuff that matters most. A couple years ago, shortly after a hurricane made landfall near the host property of the Annual Convention, a charity group was brought in, and attendees were offered volunteer opportunities to package up meals for the hurricane victims. A lot of groups talk about being involved in their communities, but FLTA and its members are walking the walk.
